A glimpse of Singapore
Went to the Herbarium this morning, came home at 4.00 pm, had a wash and sleep to freshen up and then went into the centre of Singapore. I went down to the Singapore river and had dinner and enjoyed the sights
Well this was a bit off - the tourist area full of Australians drinking beer and talking loudly
But there were nicer areas where there were less pubs! A pleasant way to enjoy a warm topical night.
Cafes along the river bank - I did not eat there, but found a nice little Thai/Indonesian restaurant which was very nice!
